Grab a Cocktail at These Anna Maria Island Bars

Relaxation means something different to everyone. Some people enjoy visiting our village of the arts, while others might prefer Anna Maria Island kayak tours, but if your idea of a relaxing evening involves grabbing a drink with your friends, then you’re in luck!

Anna Maria Island, Florida, is home to plenty of restaurants and bars with unique drinks you and your friends are sure to love.

Our Anna Maria Island Beach Resort is conveniently located near some of the island’s most popular bars. Enjoy a cocktail for happy hour or indulge in a glass of wine and watch the sunset. Either way, these bars on Anna Maria Island have everything you need for a memorable experience. Check out at least one of these spots on your next trip to AMI!

The Doctor’s Office

Although this establishment used to be a doctor’s office, you won’t find any stethoscopes or thermometers here. When the building was transformed into a cocktail bar, the only thing that remained was the name!

Their famous “House Prescriptions” include offerings like Painkiller, a dark rum drink with tons of tropical flavors, and Preferred Remedy, a unique rye whiskey and Nux Alpina black walnut concoction. There’s also an extensive “Prescription Spirits” menu with everything you would need to cure any ailment.

Don’t forget to pair your drink with something from their food menu for the complete experience. You can choose from classic bar snacks like warmed olives and mixed nuts to a cheese board filled with chef selections or a savory charcuterie. Don’t miss the rotating specials, either, which can include anything from sandwiches and soups to pasta dishes, seafood, steaks, and more.

Visit The Doctor’s Office at 5312 Holmes Boulevard #B in Holmes Beach all week long for a fabulous drink selection.

The drink menu has something for every occasion, like a Sunset Margarita for one(or two), Jose Cuervo Tradicional Reposado Tequila, orange liqueur, fresh sweet and sour, topped with Grand Marnier to create a beautifully layered drink made to match their fantastic view.
