Where to Get Anna Maria Island Golf Carts, Beach Equipment, and Other Rentals

AMI Adventure Rentals is the best place to meet your rental needs on Anna Maria Island. Their adventure rentals and tickets now have a quick link to purchase attraction tickets online, and the reservations team can help you if needed. AMI Adventure Rentals provides everything from baby and beach gear to dolphin sightseeing tours. Here are some of the services they provide.

Rentals & Transportation

Get around town at your convenience with a bike rental. Men’s and women’s bikes are available at $12 per day ($60 per week). Kids can also get in on the fun. Brightly-colored bikes in pink or green are available for $10 per day. These rentals come with a coaster brake for smooth stopping, double-guard chain guard for added suspension, padded handlebars, and oversized steel frame and training wheels. Parents with small children may choose to rent a trailer, which easily hooks up to any bike, so their tots can tag along. Couples may also enjoy a tandem bike, a stylish ride for two, costing only $19 per day.

Gulf carts are also available for rent. Choose from 4, 6, or 8-passenger vehicles. Carts reach up to 25 miles per hour and are street legal. Choose between gas or electric Golf carts. Gas rentals must be picked up, but electric vehicles will be delivered to you. Renting a Gulf cart is a fun and convenient way of getting around the island to run errands or simply sightsee.

Traveling with a baby? Not to worry! AMI Adventure Rentals has all the essentials covered, so you don’t have to needlessly lug huge items from home. They provide cribs, high chairs, booster seats, and child safety gates – everything you need to ensure your baby has a safe stay on the island.

Everything you need for a great beach experience can be rented from AMI Adventure too. Rent lawn chairs, beach wagons, umbrellas, and cabanas. Special packages are available for larger families and include beach toys, pool noodles, boogie boards, Bluetooth speakers, and WiFi. For fun out on the water, consider renting a paddleboard or kayak.

To avoid the hassle of grocery shopping, AMI Adventure provides a service that does it for you! Simply select which items you want online, proceed to checkout, and cabinets will be filled with your purchases upon your arrival.

Tours & Charters

There are infinite ways to stay active on Anna Maria Island. Enjoy water sports, go fishing, or spend an afternoon wildlife watching. AMI Adventure helps you make the most of your vacation by providing a wide variety of tours and charters sure to excite the whole family.

Fishing Charters

Anna Maria Island offers many great fishing opportunities, and you’re almost certain to get a catch. Fishing off Florida’s west coast, you’re likely to find gag grouper, red snapper, snook, tarpon, tripletail, yellowtail snapper, and speckled trout among others.

Private fishing charters are available for 4 hours ($500), 6 hours ($650), or 8 hours ($1500). An experienced captain will take you inshore to the Intracoastal waterways of Sarasota and Tampa Bay, where you will fish among grass flats and mangrove islands for redfish, snook, and trout. Who knows? You may catch a lot more than you bargained for; there are plenty of other species to be found!

On these charter trips, you’ll want to bring your own snacks and drinks, but tackle, rod and reels, bait, and licensing are all included in the charter price. The whole family can join; experienced and novice fishers alike are welcome!

Four-hour group fishing trips head our daily mornings and afternoons. The tour includes rods, license and fishing gear with live bait available at an additional charge. These group trips are family-friendly, so bring grandparents, parents, and kids! Call 941-822-3351 to check the next day’s availability.

Boat Charters

There’s just nothing like being out on the water. If you can’t get enough of the sea, consider booking a private boat charter. Two and four-hour charters are available for up to six people. You can sightsee, sandbar hop, snorkel, fish, or simply enjoy being at sea. A two-hour sunset tour is also available, which starts two hours prior to sunset. A maximum of 18 are allowed per tour. Costs start at $298.50 for the first six people and an additional $35 per person after that. You are welcome to bring snacks and beverages on the tour.

Egmont Key is a popular place for boaters. It’s the perfect place to go snorkeling, relax on the beach, and go swimming. The area also has a rich history. It has long been a U.S. military outpost, and during the Spanish American War, numerous formidable defenses were constructed. The ruins of these fortifications can be seen crumbling on the shoreline today.

Kayak/Paddleboard Eco Tour
