While the gift shop is incredible, we’re here to talk about food! The breakfast and lunch menus here help you make sure your day starts out on the right foot. Come in for a delicious bagel, breakfast sandwich, breakfast wrap or burrito, pancakes, waffles, and more in the morning. The Sandbar

If you’re looking for a restaurant that keeps the environment in mind, The Sandbar is the place to be. The Sandbar is dedicated to always using eco-friendly practices in the gathering and preparing their ingredients, so you can get a delicious meal that you feel great about eating. They also often donate a portion of profits to a worthy cause for an added bonus!

The menu options here are truly unique and are simply mouthwatering. Menu offerings can change depending on the season, but lately, guests love dishes like stuffed shrimp, grilled octopus, shrimp and gnocchi, and New York Strip. Got a vegetarian or vegan in your group? A vegan burger is an incredible option! 

The Sandbar is located at 100 Spring Avenue in Anna Maria. They are open Monday through Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Rod & Reel Pier

One of the most popular Anna Maria Island family-friendly restaurants is Rod & Reel Pier, an area staple since it first opened in 1947. Located on the north end of the island, this restaurant not only provides incredible food for every meal of the day, but it also gives a breathtaking view of the water! Anna Maria Oyster Bar

For a fun and exciting family-friendly atmosphere, Anna Maria Oyster Bar is the place to be. With a great location on the Historic Bridge Street pier, this establishment provides an excellent view with a fantastic meal. Plus, you can walk to tons of fabulous local shops when you’re done eating!

Choose from a vast selection of oyster preparations here, but if you’re not into oysters, don’t worry! Anna Maria Oyster Bar is located at 200 Bridge Street in Bradenton Beach. They are open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The Ugly Grouper

You can’t miss The Ugly Grouper while you’re journeying through Holmes Beach! This incredible restaurant has an atmosphere all its own and is a terrific spot for the entire family to enjoy.
